Did I see that right? Ramsdale jumps for the ball, unchallenged, comes down hard and is hurt, so the game stops..? But no one was near him?
Shouldn't play continue?
Or did I miss something?
Keeper is injured they will stop the game.
Outfield player injured it can carry on 9 other players can cover him. Keeper crocked, regardless of circumstances, no one can cover him and an advantage gained.
Very very rare you see the game continue if the Keeper is down. Think we had a game at Barnsley where Stowell (?) went down and the ref ignored it and Barnsley then scored.

Still fuming about that, I think Stowelly got knocked out

Southampton have scored 8 away at Newport

Lower league clubs have been smashed heavily in a lot of games this week.

We can’t keep nuno away from the place!

Sake...

Was hoping for a more winnable tie.

About time we had some luck at home to them they’ve really shithoused some results here in recent years.
The customary home tie v lower league opponents for Man City again.

A lot will depend on which competition Nuno makes priority can see him fielding a very young side.

Let's hope they progress in Europe. They'd definitely have a much changed team if so

Yep remember the side that turned up at Villa a couple of years ago.

If you think to sides that play in Europe only have to win 5 matches to win the competition. Simple reason why City have owned it in recent years.

They’re going to be playing some god awful teams in that competition. Will be a league cup (or worse) team for the EC I’d imagine

Sheriff Tiraspol into the Champions League proper. Pretty huge for a side playing in the Moldovan league.

Dodgy area they are from as well. Moldova is in 2 parts really and technically at war.
The area Tiraspol is the unofficial capital of Transnistria.
Don't know if its still the case but that area used to control the electricity for the whole country and would routinely cut it off at night, for no reason other than to annoy them.
