That’ll shut the City fans singing through the silence up.

Steffen showing the perils of training everyday with Ederson, but not actually being anywhere near as good as him.

Pep over thinking again?

Not sure why he's picked Ake
Appears to have prioritised the league which is a shame as was looking forward to this. Particularly draining game Wednesday though in Spain I guess too

Game potentially back on, thanks to everyone's favourite Brummy export.

Despite chasing the game and pulling one back just after half time Pep chose not to make any subs apart from Mahrez for Jesus due to injury. He could have brought on De Bruyne, Gudogan or Rodri to change things. Ironic that he keeps calling for 5 subs.

I see Liverpool pipping City to both the Premier and Champions League too, they seem to be unstoppable where City are faltering a bit

I think City will just about edge the league. Champions League final could be amazing though if they both get there

Not as good as Rubén’s, but Barry Bannan has just hit a cracking strike.

From an article just published by The Athletic. If correct we are all West Ham and Leicester fans

And what happens if both teams win their competitions?

This is complicated. Let us start with what we know for certain — City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and West Ham would be in the Champions League, while Arsenal and Leicester would be in the Europa League.

If Palace do not win the FA Cup, it means that the cup winners’ Europa League place would go to the next highest-placed side (Manchester United in seventh), seeing as sixth-placed West Ham would have qualified for the Champions League.

With Liverpool having won the Carabao Cup, earning them a place in the Conference League, their place in that competition would go to the team in eighth — Wolves.

This would see nine Premier League teams in European competition next season.

If Palace win the FA Cup they will join Arsenal and Leicester in the Europa League. Liverpool’s place in the Conference League from winning the Carabao Cup would go to United in seventh.

No space would open up for Wolves in eighth but again, nine English teams would feature in Europe.

Just went to read the article and it has been corrected, 8th place don't get into Europe under any scenario

Thanks for the update. It seemed strange, but given the source and the title of the piece looked trustworthy .

Looks like we need a rejuvenated Burnley today then. They have Chelsea and Arsenal either side of their semi final. Not inconceivable they fail to win the next 3 and we need to take advantage winning the next 2.

Ashley Westwood looks to have suffered a nasty injury. Nikola Vlašić in tears.

That’s going to hurt! Hopefully looks worse than it is but I’d imagine his ligaments are properly fucked!

Burnley could have done us a favour today. Missed a penalty to go 2-0 up and probably would have won from there.
