It is I also don’t think we can assume we won’t get dragged into it it’s unlikely but not out the question

Careful. If I post stuff like this they get the noose out!;)

You are correct. We need to pick up some points in December just to keep our distance from that lower group. Also, if we are mid table and in touch in January , we are a better proposition for any new players.

We're 3 points off 6th and 9 from 18th.

What is wrong with people.
Read the word “unlikely” I’ve hardly said we’re in a relegation battle just need to guard against it

Yeah, I'm finding the panic odd.

As I've said before, understand concerns over various issue but we've had runs of games far worse in previous seasons and Nuno has fixed it and made us stronger than before.

of course it is possible, but so unlikely that I think thats the least of our concerns

I’m not panicking just saying it can’t be ignored

I think it's more a question of apprehension than panic, and perhaps understandable in anyone who has supported this club for more than three years. (Some people on here spent most of 2012-13 saying there was no chance we'd go down to L1.) Broadly speaking, there are two types of team in the PL - good ones who have the odd bad season and poor ones who have the odd good season. I'm pretty sure Fosun have (or soon will have) done enough to put us in the former category, but we really haven't been here long enough to say that for sure. I'd guess more of our fans than Arsenal's are looking over their shoulders, even though they're 4 points worse off. But I'd urge anyone who's truly worried about us to lump on at 50/1.

That
Kid went in two footed on him to be fair.
That initial tackle is filth! Literally no need to go to ground in that situation unless a) you’re a coward b) you’re trying to hurt someone.

Hope the kid got sent off as well.

Rolling round like a fucking tumbleweed when he gets his comeuppence too, maybe shouldn't throw himself around like peak Vinnie Jones if he's scared of getting a bit back, especially when he's playing with the bigger boys.

That's one of the worst tackles I've ever seen - absolutely disgraceful.

He ain’t spent enough time down Fowler’s park! He’s got off lightly with a light kick out. Headbutt or right hook probably a more appropriate reaction.

Was Alfie Devine I think? Just joined Spurs from Wigan - meant to be very good, but that is a terrible challenge!

Not in my day. Kid would’ve been booked, and then snapped in two when he got the ball next. People used to bide their time instead of just lashing out and the ref would normally let it go.

Remember us against Walsall late 90's, one of theirs went through Muscat early on, to lay his marker down, intimidate him, that ended well, every time this kid got the ball you hid behind your hands because you knew what was coming.

ps. As an aside I remember seeing Tony Daley running ! (For Walsall mind)
