Live Match Discussion: 2020/21

Oh the levels don’t get much higher than this at all, city playing a false 9 isn’t working De Bruyne been very anonymous so far.
Neymar is just looking head shoulders above everyone on the pitch currently.

City much improved in the second half, but still not really creating much.

More than deserved equaliser. City much the better side.

The wall should do better but it wasn’t impossible for Navas to get across

2 away goals is massive, not backing City to keep a clean sheet in the second leg so they needed that!

City need another goal to put the tie to bed.

Never rated Navas. Two goals that any keeper might concede, but you really want a CL keeper to save at least one of them. He wouldn't be 1st choice at a big 6 club.

Been really struggling watching football the last few weeks, had enough of the zero atmosphere, var nonsense, not going to our games and being disappointed in our performances but watched tonight and it's given me some positivity towards the game. Thought it was a really interesting game with top quality performances and some lovely football at times. City's little tweaks at half time just stopped PSG getting the ball in to Neymar and it made it so much easier. Should be a good second leg.

Think the criticism of Navas is a bit harsh, great ball from KDB for the first which sometimes a keeper goes with the ball and saves it and sometimes he doesn't quite move enough and it's in. It's not as big as a mistake as it may look. Second is nearly impossible to save i would say, sees the ball going at that height wall side and will expect that wall to do their job, it's too late by the time the ball comes through the wall.

Just noticed Man City have the early kickoff on Sat too, after a European away game on the Wed night. An away game in London too. Probably just stay in the capital rather than go back to Manchester I'd have thought?

Arsenal really are utter shite, Arteta is surviving because of the cup win last season
