Ha ha, not quite! :D

I'm 5'8'' and played up front, you do that against some hairy arsed monster every week and you need to give a bit back sometimes. Nothing nasty, always a handshake afterwards and fair game.

Spurs have thrown away their 2 goal advantage in Zagreb.

Orsic hattrick, he's been very good. Spurs have been awful.

Amazing fightback, Zagreb defended like Trojans at the end there.

As a sidenote, Glenn doesn't look a well man to me

Some real incompetent defending gifts Man U the lead in Milan.

Was a good run but we got favourable draws which helped.

Espanyol aside that's just not true.

We played Olympiacos in the knockouts who lost one game domestically all season, drew with Spurs in the Champions League groups and beat Arsenal in the Europa knockouts.

We lost to Sevilla the eventual winners.

Even in the play off round we had one of the tougher draws against Torino.

Short of an unfortunate draw any PL side has underperformed if they don't make the last 8, particularly if seeded

Torino was tougher yes, but they finished 16th in Serie A, want really that tough, ideally we would have got a 3rd round of farmers but we didn’t.

The group stage we got a good draw, the number 1 seed was a basket case, Bratislava are rubbish and the only decent team we failed to beat.

We then couldn’t have hand picked a better tie than Espanyol and they even had the courtesy of playing their reserves.

Olimpiacos was probably a middle of the pack draw in the last 16. Could have been way worse, could have been a bit easier.

I said Espanyol aside tbf. Unlike Espanyol who were already having a shocker of a season Torino played us on the back of finishing 7th in Serie A. That they finished 16th 9 months after our game(s) is neither here or there.

We should know from the 90s we can't just turn up against inferior opposition and expect them to roll over. We still did a job in the group and finished the group with a points total higher than the winners of 7 other groups. You dismiss the other sides but Sproar was still up for the golden boot before Penandes rocked up at United.

Slavia Prague and Dinamo Zagreb are hardly big hitters, just shows anything can happen. We did what we had to throughout the tournament and all with relative comfort, and then played the best team we could have come up against. And were still 0-0 against them after 87 minutes. We also only got one shot at them, all after a hectic end to the domestic season, who knows what would have happened in front of a packed Molineux in a normal calendar.

I think we had a favourable draw (I wasn’t really considering Torino when I said the statement, but I think you’re over egging them a little).

Yes we did a job, I never said we didn’t. “It was a good run”. But I’m not going to pretend we worked miracles, we probably got as far as we should have done, Olimpiacos being the only real good team we played, and we are better than them, and should be beating them. We weren’t great in either leg but got through.

Points totals in the other groups is irrelevant, means literally nothing. Sporar is a good player, not going to pretend he’s not, but Bratislava are still terrible

They aren’t big hitters. But that’s why the teams they’ve beaten have been said to underperform. I think Leicester weren’t actually arsed though, Rodgers wants to make sure they don’t blow the CL again.

But as above, I didn’t say we did badly. I said we did good. Nothing more, nothing less. I think we got where we should have got given the draws we had. Which is literally what I said originally.

A harder group we may have been knocked out early or we could have smashed it and then we could genuinely be saying how good our run was! We may have beat Sevilla in a packed Molineux in the last 32. But we didn’t, we got a bye against Espanyol. As I said, I think we got favourable draws.

Oh, seriously?!
look at the teams we could have drawn and Torino were, by far, the toughest draw.
I really don’t get why real Wolves fans feel that they have to re-write history to suite their current argument
