Imagine giving Bale that much space and time.

Redknapp and Keane :D

I think I'm leaning towards Keane's opinion on this one.

Mendy just parrying shots straight at him back into the box again. This is the highest level, I guess based in club profile and transfer fee he has got to be one of the top 30-40 GKs in the world, yet he’s doing shit like that. Mad

Utd look like they’ve very much accepted relegation.

Just nowhere near good enough. Minus Henderson, O'Connell and Egan they are so far off it. Full credit to how they performed last season, but out of their depth now and wasted a decent amount of money.

Although he hasn't been amazing for them and currently injured, Berge might be an interesting midfielder for us to look at?

I like Fleck. Great energy and better quality around him I think he could be a decent player for someone for a couple of years still.

Was just thinking that, would be a good option for us - can’t see anyone else worth considering.

Agree. I am a big fan of O'Connell but not sure can take the risk on his injuries nor is he probably quite the level we need to "kick on".

He's solid. A promoted side might take him (Norwich?).

Berge will end up somewhere decent, I think.

He isn't bad but he really isn't what we need. Makes Dendoncker look lethal in front of goal.

Yeah, Brighton, Burnley, maybe even Palace as he seems a smart player so probably the sort of person who would respond to Roy Hodgeson.
Palace have a big summer ahead. Loads of players out of contract and looks like Hodgson might be going. Big opportunity but could also go horribly wrong!

13 players out of contract in the summer, huge business needs to be done, they’re awful though so a good clear out may be a good thing.

Huge fan of RH, coaching wise his style isn't a match with me, but in terms of the career he has had, the way he coaches and sets teams up, his focus on technique and role of players etc is superb from what I have seen and heard about his coaching methods.

I think Sheff Utd are doing a good thing personally, accepting it and keeping a manager and system in place that looks like it will still work in the Championship, rather than blowing everything up and having to completely rebuild.

It's just the mental side of it I would be concerned about if I were a Blades fan. We've seen first hand what it can do to otherwise capable players when they've had a year of losing nearly every week.

You can see it in the lad Kaban that Liverpool have signed off Schalke. They went nearly an entire year without a win. He might genuinely be shite (I haven't seen that much of him) but he looks a total rabbit in the headlights and I can understand why. Now apply that to an entire squad, plus a load of them have been there for years now without much freshening up, all while listening to the same manager.
