Live Match Discussion 2018/19

The Ox has done something to his hamstring in his comeback game for Liverpool U23's and is off for a scan

Always a risk after a long time out. Hopefully not too long as a set back for him.

More crowd trouble in Scotland tonight at Hibs v Rangers.

Looks like Hughton is boring his way towards another season in the top flight

Knockeart should have been sent off after 10 seconds and scores after 74 minutes.

I think they were safe(ish) anyway.

33 points now and I struggle to see Cardiff getting to 35. Nearly there.

They would need to win their home games. I certainly can't see Cardiff getting much (if anything) on the road.

They have to win today. Lose and I think it's all over.

If Southampton beat Spurs (unlikely, but not impossible) then absolutely. The bottom three would be as good as dead and buried

:icon_lol:

What I find most odd about them is they’ve recruited some really good players but totally at odds with how a Hughton sets his teams up really.

It would be really harsh but id be look long for a manager to come in and improve them otherwise I see them going down next season. Not sure how his teams play is sustainable.

They are boring as fuck, hanging around the plughole.

Like a pube on a toilet seat, eventually they will get pissed off.

Beginning to remind me of our dear friends from Sandwell.

Hughton has always been a bit of a deluxe Mick.

The thing is I don't see any of the potential promoted teams doing much (very nice for us to be thinking that we don't even belong near that end of the table)

True. Would love to see Bielsa with Leeds in this league but they would need to spend some money.

I don’t know why he couldn’t do it at wolves (maybe why he left) but Webber’s recruitment at Norwich has been excellent. And I really like the managers. But Sheffield United, West Brom, Middlesbrough could all come up and they are yuck.

Hmmm

Norwich - I like what Farke is doing but Pukki stood in a cowpat in August and they have fuck all in terms of budget to improve that side unless they really gamble.
Leeds - they COULD be a decent lower mid table side, we shall see

The rest would be challenging Huddersfield for levels of shite.

I like the way Wilder plays but they just don't have the quality for this level.
