I always subscribed to the all blues fans are wankers opinion, but there's this really little old kind bloke at work, do anything for you. And he's a blues fan. It's messing with my whole world view.

i thought i'd met an exception to the same rule when starting my current job. co-worked with a blues fan, and he seemed sound for a while, which caused me similar consternation.
he turned out to be a cunt after 10 months though, so ended up re-enforcing the presupposition i maintain.

agree with much of this. similar ish sized club. similar fanbase. i don't get the antagonism either.
as deutsch mentioned, i also don't get the antagonism for villa. my grandad was, and my did is a villa fan. they're not the "wankers" some keep posting villa fans are. that "rivalry" is recent, and seems to be a combination of the clusterfuck of xia and bruce, a small minority of villa fans being arsey, and a small minority of wolves fans lording it based on our current success.

It's a problem of their own making, when Utd break Kante is Chelsea's second furthest forward player. If he's deeper he may well have tracked Herrera's run.

Amazing that a club with Chelsea's resources have managed to find three first choice players in Alonso, Jorginho and Higuain who flat out can't run. They should bring Gary "ironing board" Cahill back into the mix to join the club.
