LIVE! Match discussion 2014/15

We seem to have a quite favourable run of fixtures the next few weeks. Should definitely be looking at 7 or 8 points from the next 4. Then avoid defeat against Norwich and we've got two winnable home games.

This league is shit, and there is no reason we can't make a good job of trying to get out of it this year.

Next fixtures:

Charlton (H)
Notlob (A)
Reading (H)
Huddersfield (A)
Norwich (A)
Rotherham (H)
Fulham (H)
Cardiff (A)

Couldn't really ask for a better set of fixtures to make a run for getting into the mix.

Yeah, we really should be making the most of those.

I really hope we strengthen more this month to give us the best possible chance of challenging. Afobe has been a good start!

Just had a look at the ones later and it's a bit of a horror run (in theory, although none of the games aren't winnable At this level)

Bournemouth Brighton and Forest Away, and Watford, Derby and Sheff Wed at Home.

None of these teams are unbeatable. If the team turns up in the right frame of mind we have every chance.

The kick off was delayed at White Hart Lane tonight. Sheffield United's hotel was only 5 miles from the ground but it took two and a half hours to get there.

Forest 2-0 down at Fulham. Looks like Pearce is doing the Chris Hughton at Norwich trick, win a game right when he's on the brink of getting sacked and then revert to being shit for a few weeks, rinse and repeat.

A bit silly by Adebayor. He could easily have been sent off there, though the Sheffield United player did make a bit of a meal out of it.

Brighton drawing V Ipswich.

A draw or Brighton win here will benefit - win on Sat & diff between top & us down to 5 pts whatever anyone else does.

A concertinaing at the top will bring a lot of tension into everyone's game - if we can deal with better than the others then there are chances ther

Ross McCormack hat trick against Forest. Goodnight Vienna for Pearce?

The Derby result will have saved him for a while yet. I suppose it's quite the novelty for fans to be sticking behind him, but it's 100% down to his playing history. Horrific manager.

Brighton have a third at the stroke of half time. Hopefully they have a strong second half and finish Ipswich off.

You are Danny mills and I claim my five pounds! Saying that everything mills said is true and forest look like falling away. Brighton are doing the chasers a massive favour tonight.

I know you are right DW, but Pearce is a legend at Forest. If it was Steve Bull struggling as manager at Wolves, the fans would be behind him.

An excellent first half by Sheffield United. If they could transfer their cup form to the league, they would win league one very easily.
