I'm not saying everything is. But you are saying the goal was fortunate and i And I'm saying that if you want to analyse every goal you can mostly find and element of fortune. But that's not the point. You say it's a good goal. You could say Leeds goal was fortunate as it went through Batths legs and into far corner, literally the only way it could have gone in. Slight deflection either way and it's saved or wide or just blocked.

Can't remember that particular goal but in those sort of situation i'd say it depends on the intent, does the goalscorer identify that the only place to put it is through the defenders legs? If so then surely that's a good goal, well thought out and well executed rather than fortunate, if he's just lashed it somewhere and it's gone straight through someone's legs by pure chance then i'm with you on good fortune.

Oxlaide-Chamberlain tried to do something completely different with his header to what he actually managed, that's why i'd consider it a fortunate goal but he's made a hash of his attempt but still got the desired result.

All this anti Englishness!! Just no need for it

Good fortune plays a role in almost any goal IMHO.

That's a top class save from the Fulham keeper

If I owned a hat I'd take it off to Mark Warburton. His Brentford team are fantastic.

Amazing isn't it. Brentford have missed chance after chance, and Fulham score from one of their few shots on target.

Bryan Ruiz is a wet lettuce. The slightest breeze would blow him over.

Well deserved equaliser by Brentford. Though Fulham should have defended a little better.

Great goal by brentford..good wingplay by dallas and amazing finish by CB Dean

Brentford scores another..the security on the ground seems non existent
