The magic roundabout is easy. I lived on the outskirts of Swindon for years. There are no terrors in it, but I can understand trepidation from the uninitiated

To give the full story. I parked at the fire station behind Deepdale (recommended cheap safe parking) and then walked past the ground to the ring road. THEN the magical mystery tour started as I didn't notice the pub 50 yards to my left and set off to my right to find the pub "right on the ring road".
