Palace definitely didn't read that script. Been the better side. Under Pardew I think they will become similar to Stoke in terms of league finish.

They are very good to watch at the moment, if they got a bit more class in up top (credit to Murray for his Indian summer but he isn't really the answer long term, Chamakh isn't good enough and Gayle appears to be out of the picture) they'll be looking pretty formidable among the mid-table teams.

Very credible, only just worse off in terms of PPG than Monk who everyone thinks (rightly) has done a great job.

I'd expect that if we do sell Afobe it'd have to be for at least as much as we got for Fletcher.

Hence it won't happen. Fletcher had three straight years of good returns for rubbish PL teams behind him, and acted the cunt a few weeks into pre-season. Afobe has no record above the Championship and won't act the cunt, so on point A no-one will pay what we would ask, and on point B there's no reason for us to be forced into a sale - and for all the bellends who claim that Moxey/Morgan would take the money and run as that's all they care about, I'd point them to the transfer fee we're going to end up getting for Bakary Sako vs what was on offer numerous times over the last two years.

I really hope we don't have the same situation with Afobe as we had with Sako, where Wolves fans fill the internet with strawmen about what a disgrace it is that we're selling a player that we haven't sold. Not accusing you of that btw Alan.

There will be any number of stories (partic in the E&S) about bids for our prime players, but don't expect anyone to leave apart from Sako & those that we don't want to keep
