Frankly unimpressive stuff there from Mignolet.

Woeful defending my garden wall could have done a better job.

It was Stuttgart they lost to today - horrific result especially having gone 1-0 up and pretty much everything else went against them. Schalke are in a mess so there is still a chance.

Paderborn vs Stuttgart on the final day is huge.

Great finish to the season, everyone from 13th down realistically in the shit. Reminds me of Ligue 1 a few years back when there was something like 3 points separating 9th from 20th.

Who do Augsburg have on the last day? Done really well this season, Bobadilla's goal last week was a lovely finish.

Augsburg have Gladbach away. Dortmund can still overhaul them for a Europa spot if they win at home to Bremen and Augsburg lose. Although Dortmund also have the cup final as another potential route in.

Edit: Thinking about it Augsburg are guaranteed to be in. They can't finish lower than 7th. So either they finish 6th and get in, or they come 7th and the cup spot will end up defaulting a place further down as both Dortmund and Wolfsburg will already have qualified.

That is a pretty solid season for Augsburg. They have done well.

Think Hertha already have enough. One of Freiburg and Hannover will surely not overtake them.

Jesus - have looked at the table. Hamburg have only scored 23 goals all season. That is awful.

Got a soft spot for Hannover as my mum's family are from there, I remember looking at their squad at the start of the season and thinking that they were in for a decent season. Thought that about Stuttgart as though tbf and although they've made a cracking comeback it's been a pretty dreary season for them as well.

They still have a chance. Tight at the bottom. Obviously, Paderborn are gone with their goal difference, but everything else is up for grabs.

Paderborn will get into the playoff spot if they win next week (condemning Stuttgart in the process) and Hamburg don't.

Lolerpool strike again, with some help from the assistant.

Ah - my bad. Thought the line was a little higher but forgot the playoff spot obviously.

BTW - Palace pissing on the Gerrard cornflakes here.

Such is the quality of the Bundesliga lately, methinks.

Zaha was clearly offside as well.

At least based on the angles we got here.

Was he? Sky haven't really mentioned that all. Will look at the replays and see what I think.

Did the ball go fowards to him? The pass was pretty close to the line and there was a Liverpool defender who made a challenge, and the ball deflected slightly off that defender so maybe that is it.

I thought he was level with the ball when it was played, best side is winning.

Interesting, our commentators were all over the assistant for it. Can only assume he thought Can got a touch.

How good is Bolasie? Bigger clubs calling for him this summer, I'd think.

It's been quite pathetic and if they do end up dropping it really has been coming for a number of years. Letting Zinnbauer (10 games in charge of the reserve team ever, nothing else) and Knäbel (last managed in the Swiss third tier 15 years ago) take charge for the bulk of the season was just crazy. They've ended up going back to Labbadia who is one of the many coaches they've already sacked once over the last decade but they could well have left it too late.

Palace definitely didn't read that script. Been the better side. Under Pardew I think they will become similar to Stoke in terms of league finish.
