BBC comment re the Blackpool game:

Blackpool supporters threw fireworks and eggs in a protest against the club's owners before their Championship match at home to Reading.

The Seasiders' relegation had been confirmed a day earlier.

Chairman Karl Oyston, son of owner Owen, was the focus of a group who chanted "Oyston out" and "we're relegated because of your greed" outside Bloomfield Road.

A flare and a smoke bomb were also hurled towards the main reception area.

The Oysten's deserve all they get - feel for the fans of that club

Suspect that the Oysten's have taken money out of this club, but not sure how relevant that is to what they would sell for

Then again you are not the Oysten's suspect that they will be looking to make a profit from their investment (probably should stop commenting to avoid the possibility of them sueing me!)

Blackpool's plight has made the rounds on sports programming Stateside so I wonder if they'll catch the eye of any American investors?

Well....

I don't think they own Bloomfield Road any more, and the training ground is so bereft of investment it makes us using the north bank car park in the eighties look like Melwood by comparison. Not sure how many assets are there to impress the potential investor that doesn't have some pull on an individual basis toward Blackpool as a club.
