Definitely an issue worldwide at the moment. Sakho and Fernandez on show here get a regular gig for France and Argentina, neither of them are any good. A couple of the really good ones out there in Varane and Hummels keep getting injured.

Boateng does make some howlers occasionally, it highlights the fact that we are struggling to name 10 good quality defenders world wide.
