Because tons of managers over the last decade have believed that they will be the one to get the best out of Adebayor, despite all evidence to the contrary.

Yeah, I don't think he's especially good technically and nor is he quick. However he offers an outlet and makes the right runs which is basically the opposite of Adebayor when he's decided he doesn't fancy a manager.

Adebayor doesn't have pace anymore and doesn't look like he has particularly good technique either at the moment. But Kane is a big lad and a bit of a presence who will also do some running, and today he was causing problems.

Mannone was dreadful vs Southampton but to drop him now implies he's been binned because of one mongy mess up of a backpass when the game was gone vs Arsenal, which makes little sense. The first goal was all Wes Brown's fault. I'd say Pantilimon can be worse, he is one of those keepers who has a weakness against everything.
