I don't really get all the clamour to bring it back. Yes, it's a song that we associate with our club but does it really make any difference if it's played before the match. If it was brought back there would maybe be a slight increase in noise at the start of the match but after a few weeks that would stop. Maybe some fans associate with the 'good old days' in the 80s & 90s when football was a different game (I dont know when we started playing it) but it is clearly NOT coming back no matter how many fans want to moan about it nor would I expect it to come back. I'd much rather have a campaign to bring back 'Simply the Best' for when the ball boys/girls come out, now that was something really special

It was good back in the day, very spine tingling especially the last time it was played against Norwich in the Play Offs. But if we trying to be more family orientated which we need to be to get the next generation in then it cannot be played again.

Personally, I like to hear the opening bars of something familiar so I know to walk up the stairs to my seat quicker after a brisk walk from the Western. HHSL is a nice, easy song that everyone can sing along to. No point in changing it.

I really don't like the matchday 'build-up'. Just as a trial, I would like to have no music for the last fifteen minutes or so before kick-off. I would like to hear the atmosphere 'build-up' leading up to kick off with some good banter between the North and South Bank. The fans could make the atmosphere their own. Do we really need loud music to do that for us ?

Obviously I would expect all the Matchday Sponsors and affiliated bodies and important announcements as part of the matchday, to still get regular mentions on the Tannoy as usual, but sometimes that guy on the Tannoy sounds like he needs a sedative !

Hi-Ho Silver Lining is wearing a bit thin now. Would love to have The Liquidator back, if only those foul-mouthed chappies could refrain from abusing our Black Country colleagues from Sandwell Town ?

Why not do what we did a couple of weeks ago and play TWTD at around 2:55? I thought that went down well. We don't have a proper scarves-up anthem so apart from TWTD we're stuck with something cringeworthy no matter what we do.
