They have around 130k members a decent percentage of whom find the Reform rhetoric appealing, so you have policies designed to shore up that base rather than appeal to the wider electorate. Essentially trying to win back the Reform vote rather than gain the Labour one.

The problem with being a Farage tribute act is the real one is fucking good at it. The next election is too far away to know what's likely to happen, but if it were in the next 12 months I'd imagine there'd be some kind of pact given whoever is the leader will be closely aligned to Farage's World view. He'd get offered a meaningless title if they won like Deputy PM, he wouldn't want to do the work that comes with the 3 senior roles below PM.
