It’s a blow. Now only got two wide options, think that has been an oversight. Hopefully Vitinha/Gibbs -white play as the ten more often rather than playing a flat 3 all the time

It’s where Nuno is using him at the moment though. Think it’s more to help him adjust rather than throwing him in deep end

MGW seems the obvious choice, maybe even Silva

Whatever he chooses, it weakens us. Agree with YW that it highlights an issue with depth in those roles. And there were quite a few people saying we “didn’t need another winger” in the window.

With the games coming thick & fast, Neto & Traore are going to have to play them all unless we totally change the system again.
