Also Ricardo only got forward once due to having to deal with Adama, which given what he did on that occasion is a good thing.

I've spent days, probably months, on here defending Adama. You are directing your ire at the wrong person. Its become a circular and incredibly tedious debate - which is why I try to not get involved anymore. Should have stuck to that really.

If he wasn't such an enigmatic player, there'd obvs be no discussion: as Lage has said, if his decision-making/finishing was as good as his dribbling, he wouldn't be at Wolves and, equally, if his dribbling was as poor as his decision-making/finishing, he wouldn't be a PL player / professional footballer.

For me, it's the fact he's *so* good at some stuff that makes it so baffling - after all these years - that he's still so poor at the other things. I actually blame him less for the one-on-one that he missed than the failure to cross to an unmarked Raul in the second half using his left foot.

Wild to see "The Process" become a global phenomenon. Pretty sure that whole obsession began with Alabama in US college football around 2007. Then the 76ers aped it, now it's popping up everywhere.

But Lage's right in that it is a process. I at least enjoyed watching him be so animated with the players during the match. Seemed to indicate to me that he's really got his work cut out for him to adjust some of the Nuno-isms engrained in the team.

Would you swap Barnes for Traore?

No, I wouldn't.

Firstly there is the homegrown argument. Barnes is a hell of a player for PL/Europe squad rules, being both home grown and coming through our academy.

But secondly, he has shown he has a more consistent end product, especially last season before his injury, where i'm pretty sure he would have finished with near to 15 goals. During Barnes's first full PL season, 12 months previous, when our fans were questioning his end product, he still scored 6 goals....1 less than Traore in 4 full PL seasons.

Even when he is not scoring goals, he and Vardy are great for each other, as they give each other room. Both are quick and can make the runs in behind, Barnes can also carry the ball. Vardy's goals dried up last season when Barnes wasn't there....But on the other hand Iheanacho scored more when he came into the side because of sides focusing on Vardy.

What I think would help Traore, and Jimenez, is a body from midfield offering an attacking threat too. I'm guessing that is why Wolves fans want to see a back 4 introduced, as it would be easier to get a body joining the attack from midfield in the number 10 position.

That's why we're desperate to see us bring in a good right winger before deadline day. It should give Vardy/Barnes/Maddison even more room, Perez doesn't really work on the right.
