Leicester 0-3 Wolves: Verdict Thread

My sister was in with the City away contingent when Nunes made his Molineux return. Said she’s never heard 1 player receive such abuse
Leon Clarke once got abuse from both Wolves and Sheff Wed fans. That was spectacular.

McIndoe got a great welcome back that was capped off with a glorious reaction when he was subbed off

I remember meeting Leon Clarke at the Carlyon Bay Hotel in Cornwall when he was with Palace. He was amazed I knew who he was.

Damn, RIP to Adebayor I guess

Great away win!
Nice to see two midfielders playing a much more controlled game - neither of them recklessly bombing forward at the same time. Other than that I don't think Pereira changed too much today, just introducing some structure was enough!

Leicester were terrible and a better team would probably have scored, Leicester had a few reasonable opportunities, Sa racing out to Vardy early on was a real sliding doors moment. Had Sa got that wrong we could have been one down/had a man sent off and I think heads would have dropped.

Gomes and Semedo did well as wingbacks Toti was all over the place and Doc just isn't a CB.

Let's stay positive though, 2.5 days of work has already given us some structure and discipline, kept a clean sheet and still scored goals!

Impressive for an away end but I remember O’Hara playing against us for Fulham (at craven cottage) and properly crapping himself under the boos/abuse from wolves fans

Probably no other player I'd wish this on more.

One swallow doesn’t make a summer and all that shite.
We beat a shit team, last week we lost to a shit team.
Hopefully, unlike that charlatan we fucked off, this bloke is gonna get us set up better.

Think today shows we have a decent chance of staying up purely because of how bad the promoted teams are. As it stands all we actually need to do is get more points than Leicester and Ipswich and neither look like getting more than 30. Of course we don’t either but at least we likely aren’t looking at 40 points to stay up which would be impossible.

Much maligned for some reason that escapes me.
I think it's his general demeanor. Similar to Kilman, doesnt show much emotion, doesn't look athletic. That can't be argued with.
I think he was overweight in the past but at times since he's looked actually gaunt. Still looks a scruffy mess though 😂
