Sir Jack should of got rid of Moxey, that's true, but nobody can accuse SJH of not investing in the club.
SJH classed Moxey as his best employee at Wolves and would never have thought of sacking him (I know that cus he told me)

SJH also wanted Graham Taylor to have a role on the board not long before his departure, he declined, which is a pity.

Very interested to read Scot Golbournes interview in the paper tonight

The Ashton Gate Academy product has been given licence to get forward under head coach Lee Johnson.
Golbourne, who moved last month for around £300,000, said: "He’s saying I need to get back to the way I used to play – a much more attacking style of play. Over the last year or 18 months I’ve had to adjust my game slightly. Previously, at Wolves, I had more of a defensive style due to the way they play. I wasn’t really overlapping as much and it was about trying to keep more of a steady shape. But a big part of my game is to attack and covering the ground up and down. He’s asked me to get back to that and help those around me by using my experience".

In other words playing to Kenny's orders like all the rest of them, then blamed for the no losses by Kenny.
Do we think Batth and co decided to become hoofball players theirselves. Note that RVLP was good at Brighton
Its all Kenny not Moxey not Morgan just Kenny Jackett . negative cowardly tactics

Fair points but Batth always was and will be a limited, with poor distribution centre half as is EEL. No manager will change that for me.

wasn't that partly because previous parties he had in that position, including members of his family he'd appointed to it, were heamorrhaging his cash away. i don't have a beef with what Jez does, but being SJH's best employee or Mick McCarthy's best administrator does not automatically make you a CEO. in any other business that requires bringing both a vision and strategy to deliver it, in promoting excellence in key business areas and in taking action when it's not being delivered.

yes, once a board position was offered to and declined by someone like Graham Taylor it was always going to be difficult for the club to find someone of an equivalent standard who could have done a job at board level for us. :icon_eek:

Bombing aimlessly up the wing worked well for Golbourne and Bristol City last night...

Yeah, yeah, I know we were shit too.

Brizzle are shite, doubt all those goals were solely down to him.

Why does anyone take anything players/managers/etc. say to the media seriously? It's just the same junk over and over.

I've often thought this and I've said on more than one occasion that what a manager says to the cameras isn't always going to be anything like what is said to the players behind closed doors. People are constantly slating KJ's interviews - don't listen to them then. Easy really - he's never been one for open, concise interviews anyway and has often told porkies about transfer targets etc. I can't remember the last time I clicked on a pre/post match YouTube clip linked on here.

Yet they seem to get people really riled. Getting annoyed by results/peformances is one thing (and I wholeheartedly agree with most of those criticisms at the moment) but manager interviews are filled to the brim with bullshit anyway.

You have to laugh at some on MolMix. Anything Jez says is bullshit, which to be fair it usually is, yet he comes out with 'no interest parties to buy the club' and it's taken as gospel. Very strange.

There is a rule:

Good news = spin/bullshit
Bad news = the actual truth

You could say Williamson is back for Saturday and it'll be met with sneers and derision, but if a rumour went around that Morgan was selling to a consortium of Lee Hughes, Pol Pot and Katy Hopkins, the bedsheets and felt pens would be collected before you could say 'discharge'.

lol. so true.

Disagree with EEL, I have seen him pass the ball well with composure on the ball, I think he is struggling with an Idiot in charge

You can almost guess player interviews word for word. "Kick on from here", "this is a big club", "team has promotion ambitions" etc etc. It drives me batty.

When listening to snake oil salesmen like Jez it's important to see or hear exactly what is said, not what people think is said.

I was almost mortified reading those minutes. It scares me how they seem to reduce our support to some type of 'defined science'.

Does Morgan actually know what is going on?
