Keir Starmer at it again..

A jury decides guilt on a yes or no basis taking reasonable doubt as guidance. You change that and you have to rip it up and start again.

Plus you would return to the original Victorian problem that you would get a huge increase in mistrials and non-verdicts as it only takes one anti-death penalty juror to refuse to convict and you have at best a majority verdict.

Jury trials are a load of nonsense anyway if that documentary where they put two unknowingly groups side by side in the same court room is anything to go by, as they got different Verdicts.

Bit like brexit, giving people power to make a decision they aren’t really qualified to make is a bit stupid. What’s the answer, don’t know. Just let the judge decide or a panel of judges

Tories demanding enquiry into Mandys links to Palantir and their gaining several large govt contracts. Currently very big contracts managing data for MoD and the NHS.

Palantir have been providing support for the Israeli destruction of Gaza and were suggested to Former PM Barak by Jeffrey Epstein.

Former Labour deputy leader Tom Watson works for Palantir.

And the latest...

And links with ICE

Awful company but very good software, if you go to competitive tender then they often win fairly (and very annoyingly)

Badenoch: Can the Prime Minister tell us, did the official security vetting he received mention Mandelson's ongoing relationship with the paedophile Jeffrey Epstein?

Starmer: Yes it did. As a result, as a result, various questions were put to him.

Why doesn't politics apply the same kind of diligence organisations have to do around KYC and Sanctions checking.

In fact, in my line of work we're told politicians are a Risk because they're vulnerable to bribery and corruption

So Starmer admits to knowing he was still in contact with Epstein after his conviction, and then decided to give him the job, where he gushed over Trump until sacked. Fucking hell. Get gone, labour might just he able to mount a defence at the next GE.

If Boris had done this there would be a lot more posts I'm sure....

Definately, but less in the general media I think. A lot of people, me included were pinning our hopes on Labour (and Starmer) at least being competent and not constantly setting themselves up for a fall.
I for one feel badly let down and Starmer has to take the brunt.

Starmer feels similar to Walter White in breaking bad, just it's around being shit rather than a monster.

There is probably more diligence at KFC (except for the Gravy).

He promised a different kind of politics, either because he is incompetent or untrustworthy he has delivered continuity shit. From the clothes right through to Mandelson there has been a drip, drip, drip whiff around the Labour Party, the government and Starmer.

It took Rayner a few days, but she went because her position wasnt tenable. Starmer's position should no longer be tenable but it will not be long before he is former Prime Minsiter, does he go.of his own accord or are we watching the Boris show all over again.
