Jeremy Corbyn

Also (and I am someone who voted for Corbyn), saying 'the Tories and other parties have issues too' is not only whataboutery but an extremely low bar too.

It's hypocritical to criticise, what is IMO a horribly racist, party like the Conservatives and then react like that when there are issues that are clearly prevalent within your own.

They need to be above that but they aren't, sadly.

My point wasn't about 'whataboutery' it was arguing the suggestion that anti-semitism is worse in Labour than in other political parties is untrue. I'm pretty sure the Select Comittee that decided this had Umunna as a member.

Why do you think someone like me, who should vote Labour a million times out of a million all things being equal, will not vote for Labour currently and is very close to never voting for them ever again?

Hint: There's a Brexit loving overlord involved somewhere.

It's not just you, there's loads of us. I joined the Labour party at 17 and they disgust me now.

Being labour is literally the only thing which runs through our disfunctional and disjointed family other than Wolves and lung cancer.

Thanks to the wonders of FPTP you'll have a very clear choice at the next election - more of the Tories or a genuine centre-left party. Both main parties currently adopt the position of respecting the referendum. I know many people don't like this but that's how it is. Things may change soon but currently we are where we are. Regardless of their EU position I couldn't vote for the Lib Dems after their time in govt. which leaves the Greens. Thing is, votes for the Greens take votes from Labour and I would rather have Corbyn as PM than May, Johnson, Gove, Raab whoever.

I'll be voting Green again. Not that it matters, Game of Thrones Gav will win by a massive margin, the wanker.

When Labour start being sensible again then I might have another look. As it is they're happy to push the country off the ledge. Obviously this is a Tory problem (everything is, they've been in power for nearly nine years) but Labour have been shameful along the way.

Ha! Look at the voting records of Soubry, Allen and Woolaston and come back and tell me IG are centre left.

It seems debate has gone out of the door here. Why can't you see that the Labour Party are not centre-left?

Don’t invent stuff and attribute it to me, it lessens the value of your contribution. I think it is reasonable to put the argument that some have used the issue for political purposes. That doesn’t mean everyone or every incident.

I've not invented the anti-Semitic tweet and it was a genuine question.

Livingston, Hatton and others are well known anti-semites and with the disgusting episode with Berger the Labour record doesn't look very good. Particularly when expulsions and suspensions weren't done very quickly.

I know not every member is a racist/ anti-Semite snd I don't think anybody would suggest there is but when the Leadership is so out of whack with the membership and some of their own MP's it's no wonder it's questioned openly.

Are Soubry, Allen and Woolaston centre left in your opinion?
Perhaps, perhaps not. But they are willing to put the good of the country above dogma. Something the supreme leader should consider.

I wouldn't have thought so I would think they're centre right in their political stance. But that doesn't affect whether the current Labour Party are left wing. They are.

Well they're going to support May in any no confidence vote which leaves Brexit very much in her hands.

Fackt.

More relevant if you add the rest of Robert Preston's guess that they will do so if she commits to a second vote on her deal. Which you would imagine she would lose and be toast.

Now Ian Austin has joined up. A supporter of May's Brexit deal. Loving TIGs work so far.

My point wasn't based on anything Peston said. Leslie has said so himself.

Isn't the point that they're supposed to encompass both sides of the "moderate" angle. It's not just an anti-Brexit movement (though everything should be anti-Brexit).

Well up until Austin joined I thought Brexit was the only thing uniting them?
