Sone of the finest players I will ever see at Wolves are, largely, because of Jorge Mendes involvement.

Maybe the club weren’t always careful enough what they wished for.

Essentially having a bonfire of the scouting and recruitment departments in the false assumption that he would always give us the good stuff, and better stuff each season, was the problem. Only under Nuno has anyone exercised any form of discretion and control over incomings, and our owners have decided that was complete luck, in fact an annoyance. No red tape, no language barriers, christ the bloke on the other side of the table worked for us 6 months ago. Years after him being useful from a recruitment in perspective we still refuse to structure ourselves in a semi competent fashion and in doing so flush millions away in fees and favours like Lopez

Thing is we did set up ourselves to do our own recruitment and signing etc, it was shit so we binned it all off (around this time last year IIRC?).

Edwards considers Sa number one and I think he's the best out of the three we have, it certainly is a bad indictment to how far we have fallen. Christ we will be back to fucking Johnstone on Saturday, however Ric Flair wooooooo for Bentley who see's the bench again as number two. How bastardly fucking brilliant.
