January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

No way would Sa move to Forest as a number two just to get out of Wolves. He will stay to the end of the season and move abroad.

No way that Edwards moves to Wolves with relegation all but confirmed from a team with a great chance of getting promotion.

Never write off footballers doing odd things

I guess he'd back himself to be their number 1. Bit of an odd one, though and as others have said - we better sign someone else if he goes*.

*Johnstone will definitely become our number 1.

He'll be going to Olympiakos via Forest. If he wants to play for a Marinakis club he's probably more suited to Rio Ave.

He's been a lot better this last month or so. When he concentrates he's a good keeper. But...

How many times has he had these short bursts of acceptable form only to turn in a series of absolute shockers or randomly miss a huge game though?

We should've dealt with the goalkeeper issue years ago. I'd gladly fuck him off and deal with Johnstone until the end of the season. Let's face it, with the 5-3-1-1 Swampball shit we're playing there's not actually a massive amount of goalkeeping to do at the moment.

Take the money, get rid of someone who we should've binned years ago and who has made it abundantly clear doesn't want to be here and sort it out in the summer.

Can we just do swaps? Every goal we concede then someone else goes in goal.

Irrespective of any other business I’d call it a 10/10 window if we shifted Sa and Johnstone and replaced them with a competent keeper who will be here next season.

The first part of that is easy. Not so sure we can do the 2nd bit though

Surely we can get a loan for someone like Trafford (did he make an appearance for Burnley before City signed him?) in an emergency.

Doesn't even matter if they're going to be here next season. It doesn't even matter if they're absolutely shite. Get rid and kick the can down the road.

Don’t we have a keeper out on loan who’s rated within the club? Could be Storer but not 100% sure.

We were linked with Patterson at Sunderland a lot. He seemed to be decent in the Championship but bombed out in the Prem.

Although I think he is close to a loan move himself at the moment.

His City debut was v us in the first game of the season so has only played for them.
