January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

He's one of the worst footballers I've ever seen, the faceache cunt

Zero skill, pace or heart

With Wolfe, he seems very limited so far but there's no point selling at a low right now, leaves us very short on numbers. I'd keep him until the summer and see if at the least we can make our money back.

It's a shame as his profile was decent and he looks good internationally, but the Eredivisie is sooo bad. Sometimes players do well there and look about League Two level.
About ten to fifteen years ago I had a season ticket for a few years with my son for Ajax.
Yes, there were some great European nights but the Eredivisie was mostly just a stroll in the park for players like Stekelenburg. Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Emanuelsen, de Jong, Blind, Eriksen, Sulejmani and, of course, the ridiculously talented Suarez.
Sadly, the atmosphere was regularly flat for their sold out Eredivisie matches as there was so little to shout about. The big one vs Feyenoord was especially disappointing as no away fans were allowed due to a fan death and out of order hooliganism.
Big let down.

Paul Gladon is still playing in the Eredivisie.

With Wolfe, I was listening to Fancast on the way to work this morning and they were suggesting we should play him instead of Hwang on the left of the front three. They were going on about him having more attacking output in one season at Alkmaar than Hwang has in several seasons at Wolves.

Low bars and all that.

All the podcasts are fucking dreadful but pretty sure they are the wrestling dorks, which puts them second bottom, only ahead of that dirty cunt Petalengro.

Fer seemed like an exciting signing but in the regard I expected him to be someone we only saw a handful of times as he was being developed and nurtured behind whatever ready made first team players we were also buying. It's myself I am most disappointed with.
100%.
And, who the **** was doing the developing and nurturing? How the **** was it actually being done and at what level?
So many players came in and it seems to me that unless they were looked after by team mates from the same country or linguistic background they got plain fed up and drifted away. Of course, the full package Nuno coaching and support team were on a different level overall.
I honestly believe that apart from the Ronnie Allen, McGarry and Nuno eras the full picture coaching and nurturing set-up at Wolves has been sub standard for the top division for most of my 60 years watching Wolves.

I do remember seeing some sort of royal rumble BS on my timeline many moons ago 😂

Their reasoning on Wolfe is that he’s scored a few and got assists from left back, runs a lot and is better in the air than Hwang so is worth giving a go. Obviously it won’t happen!

We had this discussion with Lee Naylor 25 years ago :D

Neither he nor Bueno would be any good further forward.

there was a podcast/interview with Luke Matheson, he said we didn’t have a clue what to do with him after we bought him, said he played pretty much for all the youth teams, and just got loaned out, nobody seemed interested in him and it was definitely a struggle being here, thats from a lad who’s family are what 2hrs drive from here

Exactly!
I saw Lemina's younger brother and Meupiyou standing alone isolated with nobody speaking to them or passing to them at Academy matches.
Hello Steve Davis. In three years as Player Pathway boss who have you brought through?

That's the problem when you bring in potential and it isn't realised. He is 23 now and playing non-league football. What do you do with a player like that except play them in the youth/reserves and loan them out to try and find their level?

Maybe he would have ended up at that level anyway, but we sure didn’t set him up with a great chance to make more of his talent.

Maybe don't sign a player because he had one good game in the Cup? Then again we are still signing them for £26m because they played well against us in a friendly

Enzo gonzales is experiencing this right now. He was a sub for the w Ham game & during ht warmed up on his own. The other subs didn't engage with him. Very odd.
