January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

I simply haven't seen enough of him to decide whether he's 'good enough'.
As TT says he's Norways LB so doubt he's complete shit. We certainly haven't got the best out of him.
All depends how much he's angling to go.

He's certainly not the worst of the summer dross but even when he has played, he's hardly looked like value for money. Granted, that's hard when the players around you are crap but I'd sell if the offer was acceptable.

Wølfe's main competition at LB is Fredrik Bjørkan. I don't know much about him, but he's at Bodø/Glimt, so I'm not sure how much there is to read into Wølfe holding the starting spot there for Norway.

Maybe not a worse player than Guedes but a worse signing, IMO. Seemed a good move at the time...

I think it is hard to judge any of the summer signings fairly because collectively they have been so poor it is difficult to know how good they are individually.

Wolfe - not incompetent but I have no idea what qualities he has

Arias - just not shown anything to suggest he is a Premier League footballer, but I thought the same about Cunha.

Krecji - clearly the best signing, but the bar is so low.

Thatchoua - a poor man's Semedo. Like way below the poverty line poor. Keeps getting picked, then dropped, then picked again. Says a lot about the competition.

Tolu - his biggest asset is not being Strand Larsen.

Lopez - a generational talent, if the generation was from the 1950s.

All and any of then can go and not materially weaken us.

Nottingham Forest have bid £35m for Mateta but Palace want a replacement before selling (what a strange notion) with £40m Wolves striker Strand Larsen in their sights

With Wolfe, he seems very limited so far but there's no point selling at a low right now, leaves us very short on numbers. I'd keep him until the summer and see if at the least we can make our money back.

It's a shame as his profile was decent and he looks good internationally, but the Eredivisie is sooo bad. Sometimes players do well there and look about League Two level.

*whispers*

Jozy Altidore scored 33 goals in a season for AZ once

Guedes is 10,000% worse on every level

Fer Fucksake is shite though

Am I completely talking nonsense but surely Mateta is higher value than Larsen?

Fer seemed like an exciting signing but in the regard I expected him to be someone we only saw a handful of times as he was being developed and nurtured behind whatever ready made first team players we were also buying. It's myself I am most disappointed with.

Only 18 months left on his contract and he wants to leave. If he goes to Forest though he’s got no ambition considering other names who are potentially interested.
