January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

Correct, he now doesn't get enough because people think he's 'alright' at centre half when he's manifestly dreadful and wouldn't get on the bench for any other team in the league.
whatever we think of him, it's not his fault, the fault lies with the ones that signed him and those that sanctioned the deal.

Maybe not the place, we'll have a championship 26/27 thread soon no doubt, but given the feeling that we're unlikely to sign anyone worthwhile, I'm wondering if there's anything we could see from this squad for the rest of the year that would make people confident going into next (not likely I know I know).

We're in a bind now as if someone performs well they're more likely to move on. Mane likely has suitors now, if Tolu scores well then he's probably gone, if the Arias that was promised shows up he won't stay, even Rodrigo will probably be eyeing a move if he kicks on.

We're going to be stuck with some of the rest for sure. Is there anything the unredeemables could do to convince us that they might not stink up the championship too? An unchanged back 3 that picks up a few clean sheets? Fer Lopez bulks up? Some consistent Bellegarde performances when he comes back?!?

Surely we can get a championship/lower prem quality keeper who isn't getting a game somewhere else. That would make me feel a tiny bit better about next year.

No. It’s all no about the summer recruitment.

Will we be able to match last summers 9/10 window though?

I'm not sure there's much given the overhaul of the playing squad that's coming up. I don't think we have 1 player I'd be confident is here next season, Toti being the closest I guess, so even a positive run of form wouldn't be much of a tell. The best we can hope for is Edwards proving to be tactically versatile and savvy as that would be the foundations for hope. Off the field it'd be the employment of a new Chief Exec with a proven and successful background in football, but I don't see that happening - it's a month since Shi Mk 1 left and there's not been any links or noise that a recruitment process is underway.

Wolves are hoping to beat a host of Premier League rivals to two Scottish teenagers - Dundee United striker Kai Hutchinson, 15, and 17-year-old Aberdeen midfielder Cooper Masson. (Teamtalk)
