January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

Sasa has made no progress at all at his new club ( loan ) to be fair .
He'll be fine in the Championship if he can get a full pre-season in...

Having lost Guedes and Cunha we had nobody else who could play CF so another one was essential even though we didn’t sell JSL. Sadly it looks like back up is all he’s good for.
For the most part Tolu has just had short cameos but has scored 3 very good and very different goals. This suggests to me that he could be decent but we will never know unless he is given a run of games. One thing is for sure he cannot be any worse than the ambling uninterested JSL.

The only logical reason he isn’t starting, or even coming on earlier, is his fitness. If that is the reason given that he’s been here 4 months you have to wonder if he will ever be fit enough to start.

I see Palace are now linked to JSL and Gomes. I wouldn’t mind betting Gomes will tell them: “I’ll sign as long as you don’t sign that heartless twat!”

If true, and that's a big if, then Italian football has fallen even further than I'd thought. Do these teams not watch the tape? He's the sort of player that should be negotiating to have his contract terminated, he's that bad.

No wonder we can't qualify for World Cups anymore :(

I know Serie a is a league associated with a lack of pace, but the fact either of these teams would be interested seems to endorse that (albeit I don't think he's actually that quick, especially with the ball).

Alex Crook and Ben Jacobs linking us to Sam Surridge

Most prolific season in the UK was 12 goals... In League Two.

26 PL games and 1 goal. Most prolific Championship season was 7 goals in 17 games. Doing ok in MLS with Nashville. Rhymes with Dean Sturridge
