January 2021 Transfer Window

Yeah I don’t want Fabio completely taken out of the picture. He can be an impact sub, start the odd game or maybe even play in a 2 sometimes. He can learn so much on the training pitch from Raul and hopefully this new guy too.

Can't see us having four strikers though, so must be Cutrone on his way - this move will take pressure off Raul too, meaning he can be fully (mentally) recovered for when he comes back.

It's refreshing to see that the recruitment team have identified a target and Fosun are still happy to pull the trigger on bringing someone in.

Nuno & the team need backing and its good to see that we're still in the game rather than just accepting our lot and writing the season off.

If you presume Raul is out for the season, I would prefer us to keep 3 strikers to cover injuries/Covid issues but whether Pat wants to sit around for 3 months again getting the odd game here and there is another matter

Seems he gets double figures consistently each season too. Mind you, Raul had a spotty record before joining us, so hopefully Willian Jose fits the system and can fly.

I've always assumed he is out for the season, so you could well be right mate. My concern is similar to yours: I don't think he will want to sit on the bench, but maybe he has some legs in the 3 behind the striker?

Johnny Phillips has tweeted saying when the Willian Jose deal goes through Cutrone will be allowed to leave.

Which is the right decision. He isn't good enough.

Fabrizio Romano is also saying he was meant to be joining Atletico, but the deal collapsed over the fee.

Good record from a good league so seems a good buy. Explains why Cutrone hasn’t had a look in as we had no intention of actually using him.

6'2" and 14 stone apparantly, so a good physical option for us.

Cross all you want now, Adama! :D
