January 2021 Transfer Window

Cutrone due back today and training 5.00pm this evening. Club are awaiting international clearance to see if he can play tomorrow.
I wonder what has changed, as clearly this wasn't our strategy a few days ago else we'd have brought him back as soon as the window re opened.

When he was asked if Cutrone is staying for the season, Nuno started his answer with "let's see" I reckon this is more likely to be contingency in case we can't get a signing over the line. There is no way this was our plan all along.

The Podence injury changing our thoughts maybe then you lose a few days to testing and ensuring the bubble rules are being observed correctly.

According to the Mirror, Chelsea have to offload if they want to sign players in January with Giroud, Tomori up for grabs............and er Drinkwater

Darragh MacAnthony is indeed a bellend. Although he did once randomly like one of my Tweets. I don't know why.

Not overly enthused with Cutrone coming back as I think the same off-field issues will pervade (I have sympathy there, but if he can't perform because he's unhappy, we have no use for him). But let's see. He has to kickstart his career somewhere or it'll be an endless spiral of moves to dodgy Serie B clubs.

If he doesn't score against Palace I will draw the line.

He is, but he does a good job for them extracting value for their players

Said it earlier that how he handles that will be key. Does exactly what he did when he first joined he is screwed. I'm optimistic though that using his family to help him might see a change. You would hope some will this time come over with him and he won't be in his own.

It looks like he has signed up to a new agency as he popped it on an Instagram story - P&P Sport Management?

Living abroad when you're young and don't know anyone is fucking hard, I mean seriously one of the toughest things I've ever had to do and I've had my fair share of shite.

We all make mistakes, it's how we correct them, hopefully he can. He's not a rubbish player, I don't necessarily think he's the answer either (I doubt we'd have him on a list of potential signings if we didn't own him) but I'd rather have him than dirge like Oliveira or Origi.

It sounds like Nuno is keeping the pressure off with the "let's see, we hope he can stay and settle down". The settling down would allude to him struggling off-field last time I reckon.

Bringing Cutrone & MGW back just now makes sense given the injuries & has no bearing on whatever else happens in this window.

Don't have massive faith in the first of those, but hope that he can settle & thrive more this time round.

Return of MGW and Cutrone, just looks like sensible deployment of contingency planning to me. There may be other irons in the fire, but it looks like a business with its head screwed on.

Does the rule about only playing for 2 clubs in a season still exist? As if it does then he is here for the season if he plays.
