I am sorry I do not know enough about Campana.

If he is not good enough to challenge for a first team place then its a MEH at the moment as we need quality first , youth and potential second. We have plenty of youth and potential TVM in MGW, Neto , BAS , Ennis , Sanderson, Kilman, Jordao. It pointless having the best under 23 team in the country if the first team cant cope and lacks depth. I dont think any of us would be prioritising the EFL cup to bring them on either.

I know nothing of him, so will let his football do the talking rather than try to judge him before he has even signed
What drum am I banging for Thelwell? Non, I haven't stuck up for him nor have I dived in 2 footed to call him a nasty name because he hasn't signed a player yet.

Maybe it is just me but all the waving of arms and screaming at the club for not signing players is just odd. Struggling to see how the club not signing a player (I think they will btw) has a negative outcome on my life. Unless by not signing a player Fosun will demand I hand over my house, wife and 2 dogs. I am all for debating the pointless act of people spending money or not but it just seems ridiculous that we are signing an apparent talent and the 1st thought for a lot of folk is "NOT GOOD ENOUGH, SACK EVERYONE SELL THE CLUB". You and Kenny have stepped up to offer your comment with regard to my opinion with your usual vogour and gusto yet both offered sweet FA with regard to Campanas pedigree or evidence thereof so I am still in the MEH camp.

Wow, back down there. I have said I know nothing about him, my point to you is the only way we will know about him is when he plays. Until then calling him not good enough is wrong. You have zero clue on his ability and because you don't know about him you have instantly decided he isn't good enough for you. This isnt Kevin Kyle we are signing you know

Just going solely on the youtube videos (I know, I know) he looks promising - very much in the Raul mould. And 4 full caps at 19 is nothing to sniff at, even if Ecuador don't quite have the attacking options of say France. But it's way too early to say whether or not he'll be viable for the 1st team - and this is all on the assumption he does actually sign - there's no way to tell how quickly he'll settle, whether he'll be up to pace, whether he'll be up to the standard required. He could hit the ground running or he could be miserable and homesick (I would hope they've learnt some lessons from Cutrone and will be actively supporting someone moving so far away - assuming what some reports said were accurate, anyway)

Robbie K looked like a strong gust would've blown him over when he debuted yet took the Championship by storm. You never know.

We have. We have lost away from home in the FA Cup to a team who are above us in the table.

Folk are entitled to be livid, as regardless that we were the better side over the two legs, we haven't planned enough in advance so that we can beating one of the richest clubs in the world.

Moving on slightly, who would we like to see us sign?

There are a few we ***could*** look at and that i would personally be ranging from fairly happy - very happy with include:

Pukki, Ings, Lemar, Bowen, Olmo, Jota, Batshuayi, Llorente, Giroud, Cantwell, Eze, Hwang, Origi, Watkins, Alcacer (!), Chimy Avila, Belotti (!)

The likelihood of any of those varies a lot though!
