Is Vitor Pereira A Good Manager Or Should He Go?

Well, I guess we can add Brendan Rogers to the list of potential options. Not sure that improves it much mind.

Although if he was disappointed by the lack of investment at Celtic I don't think he's going to be rushing down the M6.

Easy to scoff at a guy like Ten Haag but he's light years ahead of Vitor. Got to remember that Regis fucking Le Bris has Sunderland 2nd in the table and we've been turned over AT HOME by sides managed by Daniel Farke and Scott Parker.

Rodgers was hated at Leicester and has underachieved at Celtic. He did nothing special at Liverpool and during first time at Celtic Rangers were in disarray so he’s done nothing more than expected since Swansea and he left there in 2012. It’s a massive NO from me.

He is miles better than Vitor.

I think he's way above the level we can hope for.

On the basis that I am really concerned about who we appoint.
In terms of staying up I don’t think it will make any difference but I’d like to see an up and coming manager who will relish the opportunity rather than an established manager who has failed in a number of jobs. I bet a lot of Brentford fans would have preferred Rodgers over Andrews when he was appointed, but not many (any?!) would swap now. The biggest problem we have is there’s next to no recruitment team to back up a coach which has been a huge help to Andrews at Brentford. Given we’re going down I actually think sorting a decent recruitment team is more important at this stage than the coach, but sadly Shi thinks otherwise.

I don't think Rodgers is the kind of person who could turn us around, he doesn't do very well in a bad atmosphere and even causes them/makes them worse. Leicester had no business going down the year they dropped IMO and that is mainly on him. Good coach and obviously better than Pereira but he's not saving us.

My main problem is that I really do not have a clue who COULD save us. I don't doubt that someone would get more out of this squad than Vitor currently is, but enough to finish 17th? I just can't see it - the squad simply are not good enough.

Not to say I wouldn't make the change, because we can't carry on like this but I just think there are too many issues to fix for us to get out of this mess. There's not a single player in this squad who I think have the ability to change a game, or has the leadership qualities needed to influence things. Not one. And we need at least one of each. January is too far away for that to be a potential fix, and the recruitment over the past few years doesn't exactly fill me with hope that we'll be able to turn it around and bring in actual PL quality players to stop the rot. Besides, who would want to play for Wolves right now?
