If you previously said there are no better managers available, can you show your working out please? As you have gotten your answer very wrong so I would like to try and help...

Yeah but this means @Deutsch Wolf gets to say “I told you so” and you know I can’t abide that.
Yep he called it from the very start. If he said I told you so it would be fun seeing the replies on here haha.

Only 20 mins to go. Can we keep it to 5?

Watching this I can see why Raul has checked out.

He’s just the wrong guy for this job. Apparently a really good, really enthusiastic coach. Just not the man for this job and I’d like to enjoy watching Wolves again

It's just not going to happen, is it.

I've not heard one valid argument for keeping him.

Needs to be binned before the next game because the season becomes more difficult to redeem the longer he stays.
That's because there aren't any!

There's been no real argument to keep him for months, anyone who has argued for him has based it on hope and dreams rather than evidence from the pitch.

Nope. Only a 7 or more would have put him in any danger today. The Southampton win bought him another 3 or 4 games. Lose the next 3 and I think that will be it. There still isn't really any anti Lage sentiment where I sit, which I assume is the same for the rest of the ground. Much more dislike for individual players than the man who coaches them

Probably right but we can't keep surrendering games and each defeat gets us closer to trouble. I doubt many expect him to be in charge after the World Cup let alone the end of the season so why keep wasting time? This squad is far better than the shit results it is producing

I think that ship has sailed, honestly.

Blokes next to me in the NB lower were apoplectic for him putting Neves at CB and even more so when he didn't change it at HT.

They've been on a slow turn since Leeds.

1 win in 16 league games MM was binned after 1 win 15 and was being hounded out the club.
I’ve never known such a poor manager at the club get such patience from our fan base.

The ‘Bruno Lage barmy army’ efforts petered out much quicker today, but then again there was little of anything in what was the most apathetic match I can remember being at (my mood more than anything else) for years. He won’t go now because the logic for it is the same as it was in May when he should have been let go. We’re watching an awful business decision in slow motion, a lesson for anyone who thinks Fosun are calculating or ruthless. Surely it’s an emotion of shame that’s outweighing hard evidence as they don’t want to be seen to admitting the big mistake they’ve made.

Obviously he will go at some point, the question is how awful do they want the league position to be before they do the inevitable? 1 point from the next two games enough to cling on and hope to scrape a win against a struggling Forest? They can read the posts of people who were always happy to give him until the WC break (why?!?!), or think the players just need to pull their socks up, or think it’s not fair as now it’s now Costa that he needs more time to work with etc etc if they want to be reassured.

Im not wildly pro-Lopetegui, and I’d much rather a proper selection process, but given that his appointment seems the most likely way of getting Bruno out Im hoping against hope that this is being lined up for the international break. Doubt it though.

We are in serious relegation trouble as it’s stands though.

We'll do what we do best and play Forest into form.

The game will go, first 15 minutes they'll be tentative and we'll threaten, well, make it to the 18 yard box. Guedes will mishit a shot, our smart watches all go crazy with our increased blood pressure but gradually they get a foothold in the game, from 15 mins to 30 they'll have their first chance and then score before half time, we all shrug and say 'been coming, that'

Brucie Bonus of MGW scoring/assisting.

Despite much arm waving and shouting into the void its the 78th minute before we make our first change.

Then all to the Winchester to tell ourselves how badly Bruno has been let down.

He's a complete waste of time. Dreadful manager.
