Is Anyone Paying for the Wolves vs Palace Game?

I won`t pay it out of principle. Once fans are allowed back I would gladly pay a tenner a match provided the money was going to the club.

I'm not sure what the principle is that people are having a problem with, a company charging for a service to make a profit?

Probably because some people are already paying for their service which so far has covered all games without any extra charge. This is double dipping at a very high price point.

Yes, it's that it was free and now it isn't and it's the PL teams, many of which have taken ST money who are driving it for what by and large are unattractive games to anyone other than the fans of those teams

I always thought that the 'all games ' was only ever a short term thing.
something I don't know, are the ppv games only available to people with a current sky/bt subscription? or can anybody without an account buy ppv games?

The latter for BT, certainly (but you do need to register)

PPV model now going to include games 6-8 november, and then be reviewed.

If you're on Virgin and have BT Sports in your package you can get it on 464 I think.

EDIT: Looks like you don't need to have BT Sports in your package.

Tbh I'm lucky, don't have any sky/bt packages but my lad does, so I sponge off him, I have offered to pay for Palace game though as it will be our last chance to watch together for a while as we're going into tier 2 on Saturday

Is tier 2 to tier 3 that the pubs/restaurants have to close?

Which effect on the majority is probably zero.

Tier 3 is pubs can only open if they serve "substantial" meals (whatever that means).

In both Tier 2 and Tier 3 you're not allowed to meet anyone indoors that doesn't live with you or if you live on your own, is your support bubble, but I can tell you right now that no-one polices that in Tier 2. I was at Bella a couple of weeks ago and there were 4-5 tables of six people, you blatantly don't all fit the criteria. But I'm not going to give a business a kicking for making a living, it's the rules that are shit.

I only ever go out with the missus at present, there's only two of us so no-one ever asks. We don't live together. I suppose technically we are a support bubble.

Anyone know of any cinemas showing this? Is that even allowed?

Not going to be paying - even if you don't have a Sky package can get 24 hr access on there for £9.98 (even if you only want our game its cheaper, but depending on the day will get at least one other which will be of interest).

It is allowed (apparently Westfield were showing West Ham's game the other week, but the stadium literally opposite was closed...) but not as far as I know.

Didn’t mean to post it in this thread but thanks. So basically there is no difference between tier 2 and 3 As all the pubs are just serving food so I’m told.

I know for a fact it’s not policed anywhere because I’ve heard stories similar from friends going out for meals and at the bar at 5 aside anyone can go in (not that I do). These places aren’t going turn you away I guess. The bosses want the business and the staff want a job.

Tier 2 pubs are open without food and open to interpretation re households, Tier 3 aren't

It's the pub/restaurants duty to ask if you are all from the same address/bubble, it's not their responsibility to check you haven't lied to them.

Been in one pub since March (twice) and been asked both times if we’re from the same household.

Having thought about this a bit, I'm not going to pay for it nor am I going to stream it. I'm actually not that bothered about it, bit worrying to be fair.
