General Wolves News

Unless those 13 goalscoring chances were through balls then it suggests otherwise.

If anything he overhits his crosses more often than not.
His overhit corner against Sunderland lead to their bloody goal, after watching Arias NOT beat the first man 10 times in the prior games (which is clearly a instruction - to hit the near post.)

What actually happened with him at Boro, I paid very little attention but wasn't he doing well at one point?

Overachieved (reached playoffs) in his first season against expectations then failed to live up to new expectations the following seasons (missed out on playoffs twice). A general criticism was that he didn't seem to know how to turn possession into points - Boro would frequently dominate matches but end up drawing or losing, with little cutting edge and lots of pointless safety-first possession.

The only thing worse following the current malaise would be a dose of Hoddle ball.

Oh dear. I guess then that he would fit in well with our penchant in recent years for playing the horseshoe of doom. :-(

Sounds like Potter.

Would never pass full judgment on a manager after just 1 role at a club.
Really don’t think we have anything to lose now by giving him a try.

Who, Gary O'Neil?? ;)

I'll be getting one of these.

1) They look smart
2) All for two good causes
3) Avoids me giving money to the club at the moment, because fuck them
4) No chance of me getting rage for an entire month when I come downstairs in the morning and Doherty's gormless mug is there staring at me

…I guess you don’t want the matching turtle doves I got for you and Matt, then?

Ironic that he didn't like the teal Puma shirt as the picture of his goal celebration wearing that shirt is often used
