General Wolves News

Pretty much spot on, telling the rest of the world what we already know.
Apologies if already posted.
Those last two paragraphs are the kicker and absolutely spot on. Our prospects in the Chamionship next season don't look much better being led by clowns who've hired a disinterested squad without home grown talent.

waiting for the smart arse media wankers, to say “you weren’t complaining when you were doing well” who fucking does?
Article is bang on the money, prat on SM stating Jeff Shi the problem not Fosun.
If that were the case he’d have been sacked ages ago. He’s clearly operating under clear instructions from above.
The reality is us being so bad and winless puts the spotlight more on the club even more now and it will become a thing.
It’s hard to endure football wise but it’s putting the incompetence of the ownership firmly front and centre of things.
This isn’t hindsight from the fans many of us in pre season (which was a disgrace) were saying this could be a bad season, not this bad obviously.
I doubt any of us predicted Agbadou would go from rock solid to a rich tea biscuit in 4 months.
Or VP turning into a division 7 Wolverhampton Sunday league manager with a hangover.

I don't like targeting Agbadou, he was a needed signing that worked last season. However looking at his career there was info and data that may have been an outlier for his career, as it was a level he hadn't matched or reached previously.

I feel like a competent data driven recruitment approach would have then added to that area, or at least strengthened around it whilst they looked at if it was a sustainable improvement, we subtracted instead though. And its not the only case of that.

I am happy to give Fosun the credit for the good years, and they were good. But they have actively spilt there ownership into two distinct periods. The self sustainable period is not only unsustainable, it's brought mass division of the fan base with it.

It’s luck not judgement, but in Krejci they did strengthen that area. And although the standard is low, the sheer volume of options at CB means a good coach should have been able to make a functioning platform there. We should also have the same at CM, despite the obvious issue when one of our international class options isn’t available. Out and out CF isn’t the absolute worst either - in terms of raw material. None of that is ideal, but it’s in every other area of the park and the game where we’ve massively underprepared and seem to have no hope of improvement. Maybe Wolfe is a functioning LB, that’s it.

Yep a toss of a coin call on that. Were the only club in the top 7 tiers without a win that’s 1/251 cheers Wolves.

I would 100% take Ricketts, Golbourne and Sako in today's team.

I’d have Ikeme over the Subbuteo 3 too.

He's been grilled by fans online today about the 'penny has dropped' line and has replied and attempted to defend himself tbf
