General Wolves News

Not to be all reformy but it really pisses me off tbh
When things are going well it's not something I think about, in fact it reminds me of Chris Powell talking bobbins about Jota and Neves struggling at the Den on a Tuesday night in our promotion season.

However, right now when I see our complete lack of leadership and the armband getting passed around like Bonnie Blue it makes me wonder if players like Doyle and/or Brownhill might have made a significant difference in attitude if not ability.

I wouldn’t say I’m that fussed about the nationality, ideally it would be better to have some British players, but it’s more that we have no household names. No one who has consistently performed at the top level in this country. Joao Gomes is the closest we have to that and he’s played consistently for 2 and a bit years.

Sorry if mentioned before, but apparently we could be the first side in Premier League history who could go the whole season without fielding an outfield English player.

Mane is our only hope I imagine.
Vitor might give Johnstone a go at centre midfield...

Got two tickets for Fulham tomorrow for £20 a piece. Collection from my house PM me if interested.

"Right then guys, big smiles and sing "Jeeeffffff Shi, we all love ya, we all love ya"

It's like the flag wavers pitch side on match day. Believe they used to be staff. Now done by "fan volunteers " according to their hi-vis. What else we doing on the cheap?

One had a "Shi Out" tshirt on last Saturday which was amusing. Now if only they could make it into a flag or banner.

Pretty much spot on, telling the rest of the world what we already know.
Apologies if already posted.
A depressing but accurate article

Supporting Wolves is absolutely a joyless, soul destroying experience with no optimism that things will improve, nothing to look forward to.

We have all watched this nightmare unfold in slow motion over a number of years from the ridiculous decision to allow Nuno to depart.

They have taken us from the greatest times of our Wolves lives to being a laughing stock of a club that cannot win a game to save our lives.

Hearing all the old songs yesterday, whilst nostalgic, was a very sad reminder of what we had compared to what we now have.

As the article says, you look at our squad and can't even see that they are suited to getting us back next season. A load of mediocre players from foreign leagues and totally unsuited to Championship football.

Look where Southampton were a year ago. Look at them now. We're likely to be just like them.

Thanks Jeff, arrogant little know nothing of a man, you have killed our club

Nobody can be this incompetent (ownership), it’s impossible so it has to be deliberate/they don’t care.

They’ve realised it’s impossible to make money in this game. All the increased riches of the premier league just go on increased wages and transfer fees, So they are just going to extract as much money as possible (dodgy sponsor, dodgy kit manufacturer, Mendes dealings, free use of brand, stupid ticket prices).

I don’t think it matters what league we are in to them. The majority of these people playing esports (Fortnite etc.) don’t give a fuck about Wolverhampton Wanderers so relegation doesn’t devalue it in and particular way.

They don’t want to sell the club because then they lose the branding which they currently have for free. It’s more than a football club to them, the football club being the least important bit. So as a result they won’t accept a fair “football club price” because they lose the other stuff too.

So we’re fucked, and we can’t do anything to get these leeches out. Boycotts being our only real hope.

Yep agree with all that.
The very tiny bit comfort Im clinging to is that eventually Pereira and more importantly Fosun will be gone.
We might of course be in League 2 by then but I'll still be here.😒

The thing is it's getting traction in the national news now so now is the time to strike with things in the public eye. Shi and his pet local journalists have been able to control the narrative for so long whereas now the cat is out of the box we have to do something before they move on to the next story.
