Regardless, seems pretty clear that the idea of matchday revenue being significant to the club’s bottom line is a fantasy.

Nah... what is fantasy is the idea that match day revenue isn't important. We all know that one major other income stream provides an enormous percentage of a Premier clubs income but all other streams of income are important to the running of a club. I understand the argument some of you are trying to make that it is inconsequential in the whole scheme of things but I can't agree.

If they’re budgeting to finish 17th and we finish 2 places higher it proves his theory to be absolute nonsense. We get additional Gibbs White money and it also replaces any additional funds from STH’s. Will they refund folk when they have additional cash at the end of the season. Will they bollocks.

Same bloke has said the real financial problems were caused in the seasons we came 7th. I mean do the maths coming 7th over 13th generates you £18m a season extra
