General Wolves News

Yep without even looking on social media the comments will read something like “the worlds gone mad” “it’s just banter” “what happened to free speech” or “these snowflakes need to man up”

They are free to say it as loud as they want....just getting arrested will follow doing so.

You missed out 'Woke Nonsense' on your bingo card (actually in the comments 🤦‍♂️)

As soon as anyone uses the word 'woke' as an insult they prove 3 things:

1) They are a raging bigoted cunt.
2) They are thick as pig shit.
3) Their opinion isn't worth the time of day.
Funnily enough Barton has the word woke in all of his tweets lately...

I do wonder in what world being "asleep" when you should be awake is considered a good thing?

As I say equality isn’t a an all you can eat buffet where you pick and choose the things you like about it.
The most common misconception that people have is that they believe the fact that it’s just football banter eliminates any offence.
Would you say the same at work? No
Would you say it to someone face? No
Fact remains would you mom, dad, wife or kids be proud of your comments and behaviour whilst you were at football if the answer is no don’t do it.

Random, do I literally have to be a member to buy even FA Cup tickets? Brentford is an easy one for me to get to, and still away availability on general sale, but I really don't need a membership too as life just means I don't get to anything (especially at the prices we charge for league games, on top of travel etc etc). The answer appears to be yes checking myself, that's if I get to sit the with away fans at least :(

Or do I have to put one of those annoying pleas out there to book via one of you lovely lovely folk...?

Own question answered, you do need a membership - and indeed thank you to the lovely person who PM'd with a supporter number so all sorted :)

My plans have changed for the weekend so thought I might go to the Everton game on Saturday. Only crap view seats left in the temp stand or right down at the front of the Billy Wright.

Yet the ticketing system shows loads of seats that STH's are wanting to be put up for resale all over the ground...... Which you can't actually access and buy unless all the other crap free tickets sell out! What a shite way of doing it. Seats that will be empty that are decent views go unsat in because reasons. The supporter loses out on money back and so does the club. I get that the club makes more selling a rubbish seat, but then less people are likely to want to buy those.

Walk-up fans get less choice, STHs lose money, and the ground is less full. All for the sake of a few extra quid. Bet it was one of Vinny's ideas.

If you mean lower tier Billy Wright then fair enough, but I'm not sure as a lone adult you can buy one there anyway

If it's upper tier Billy Wright then absolutely nothing wrong with the view from any of those seats

That is ridiculous, didnt know we were doing that. Totally counter productive and everyone is a loser in that situation.
Probably a Vinny idea

Yeah I'd be fine with BW Upper, but it's one seat right at the front row of the Billy Wright Lower WL6 then one more individual seat right in the very far corner front row of WL1. And about 15 seats in the far side of the temp stand.

I'll check again throughout the week but I'm not hopeful.

I've never tried to buy one adult seat in the BW Lower as I don't want to inadvertently end up on some register :D

I think it might stop you at checkout if you do try to do it.

You're right Deutsch, the one at the front of WL6 is wheelchair user only (not a family seat), so just these left:

But dozens of the red resale seats going begging all over the ground.

There’s a resale seat by me that I’d like to purchase for a relative, but doubt it’ll come to fruition if it doesn’t “sell out”

Same. I’ve rung up and managed to get them in the past.

I sense there are a number of construction experts / project managers out there on the forum, so a boring question out of genuine interest: how much would it cost to sort the paintwork out on the ground? Would it be pointless to do it given the disruption needed, inefficient without engaging in other potentially expensive or ‘undesirable’ maintenance?

Not sure why it struck me yesterday more than any other day, but it looks a right state walking down from the Archives. Maybe it’s as I can now compare it to the toy model of the stadium my son just finished, which looks great in comparison. That took us about 6 weeks - could we get the real Molineux painted quicker than my family built a toy version?!
