General Wolves News

Now RAN and Bueno are both fit then they'll just interchange surely? Doherty won't/shouldn't feature on that side.

If he rated Doherty that highly then he'd start games and he never does (thank God).
You'd hope so. I really think we need another RB option, don't think we have anyone if Semedo isnt available (I'm not counting Doc) do we?

We don't. Jonny is never going to play for us again, Bolla will never play for us and Lembikisa is out on loan (we could recall him I suppose). None of the U21s are anywhere near the quality required.

We need a RWB full stop if we carry on holding Max's hand with an extra CH as Semedo doesn't and never will have enough output.

Matt Doherty should not be playing football at this level yet he's consistently picked.

Let's not paint GoN as a good game manager, he isn't. Good man manager, yes but in game he's still learning.
I mean, Lop continued to play Hodge a fair bit.

GoN done a decent job IMO. Some good, some bad, some meh.

I never thought we would go down this year, just due to the ‘there will be 3 worse teams’.

He’s learning on the job as he’s a very inexperienced manager. Not dissimilar to a young player with regards to inconsistency’s

It’s very rare that a relatively unknown player has his first two managerial jobs in the premier league - make of that what you will.

Going into the season, I would’ve taken us finishing around about where we are tbf. Ofcourse there’s still 22 games to go.

Definitely room for improvement of the game management front as the last couple games have shown.

I’m genuinely interested to see what happens in the summer, assuming we finish where we are currently. If we’re shopping in the 10-20m market now, we should be able to bolster the squad to give him more options. Be interesting to see then whether it’s just a fact that he doesn’t trust certain players outside the core of the squad, rather than his actual management

I don't disagree with anything you've said there.

I always feel we'll score under GON. If we go behind, which we've done a bit too often, I never feel like it's game over as was the case under Lage, Davis, a fair few JL games...even late period Nuno. That alone will buy the chap a whole lot of good will. Wish he'd find a way to make better use of Sasa though as his time in Stuttgart showed he's a very capable, influential player.

If the Spurs game had been under Lage then I know I'd have been as well walking out on 3 minutes as soon as Johnson scored.

To keep the scoring run going despite not having Neto for six games and counting is impressive.

Jonny will never change his opinion on GON, Even if we make Europe.

GON, has done really well, he has done enough to change the mind of every Wolves fan.

Pretty sure their full name is Newcastle Actually Town.
