General Wolves News

Any chance of this going in General Chatter?

Doesn't it sometimes come down to what they're cooked alongside rather than what they're cooked in?

I know Burger King don't consider their Halloumi option to be vegetarian/vegan friendly because it's cooked on the same grill as the other burgers.

If you guys elect me as a mod, I promise to move this kind of stuff to General Chatter within seconds

They're cooked separately in their own vat.

It varies, the Burger King meat free burger isn't veggie or vegan as it's cooked alongside others. They were sued in the US for it because although they didn't claim it to be those things you'd ordinarily assume they were.

As for the thread police, for me one of the best things about TWF is that conversations can flow even if they are off topic.

It’s better than seeing a spat over whether the new signings are “good“ or “amazing” or if Tim Speirs is a dud or a Pulitzer Prize writer! :icon_lol:

Maybe it's great if you are a regular poster, but as someone who dips in and out this sort of stuff is as irksome as the arguing. I wanted to see talk of Raul's new contract or Traore's double call up but then you have to wade through completely irrelevant chat.

A slight meander is fine, a complete re-route deserves a thread elsewhere.

Suggestion- If a thread is going off off topic and no Mods are around make a post to swing it back to a Wolves subject.

When I am on my laptop in a bit I will move the food stuffs to GC but before that...someone talk about a general Wolves topic

Ok - going back to the famous Hansen quote about winning nothing with kids, what are the chances of Wolves fans being patient enough to let our youngsters mature? We might not win anything with these players as ‘kids’, but in 2-3 years time, the team could be amazing.

Wolves fans are no more or less impatient, myopic or entitled than fans of any other decent-sized club with a bit of history. Kids on twitter shouldn't be taken seriously or considered indicative of anything imo.

Obviously young players tend to be inconsistent, they'll all develop and contribute at different rates, and they maybe won't all make it. We're asking them to help break into an elite cabal, not just keep us up, so it's a big ask.

It's obviously a clear strategy, and an exciting one, but it does take time. Maybe no fans in the stadium will help
