No idea why anyone would buy food/drink inside a ground: it's ridiculously overpriced. Take your own food in!

Also don't see why they can't adopt a theatre-esque approach (albeit would have to be on a grander scale) of pre-ordering drinks for half-time. Saves the queues: customer keeps one receipt, Wolves keep the other. You'd just need a few staff manning the pre-ordered drinks to check receipts and make sure no one wanders off with anyone else's beer and to check drinks receipts.

Always thought the system they used in Civic was pretty efficient back when I used to frequent there.

Each of the bar staff had their own little handheld device and they scanned barcodes next to whatever item was being ordered to tot up the bill, then you'd get shown the total on the little screen and they'd go swipe it onto the till to take payment. You'd think now with the advent of contactless payments you could take a device such as that and add the functionality for that to make the transaction too so each member of staff is effectively walking around with their own little till in their hand the whole time.

I was somewhat scarlet when I left work and the cold shower before coming out didn’t make much difference. I love hot weather but last night was oppressive even for me. God knows how the staff in the London coped. They looked like they were melting.

Yeah it was fucking murder in there, I’m like you and I love the heat but yesterday was mental. I came out of our office at 14:30 and as I walked down the main roadway on site it was pretty windy and even that was hot, it was like I was walking at a massive blow heater. Had a shower when I got back and I was pissing with sweat again about ten minutes later.
The London was just ridiculous though, even before it filled up. I couldn’t even really be arsed to talk at some points. How the fuck most of you lot wore jeans I’ll never know.
