General Wolves News

I was considering taking my son to the Bournemouth game for his first Wolves match. Am I better off wating to see what re-sale tickets become available or should I just go for the best of the handful of seats that are currently available?
If either we or Bournemouth win on Wednesday then it'll be rearranged, so unless you want to take him to a night match then I'd wait

Stat alert:

This is already our 3rd best goalscoring season since we got promoted, and for us to beat our current highest final total of 51 (achieved in 19-20), we only need 12 more goals in the remaining 12 games. Considering our current goals per game tally this season is a very healthy 1.54, we'd have to drop off significantly to not beat it.

I appreciate the overall sentiment but how is there one stand 'not fit for use'?
I imagine they're referring to the Steve Bull, that's of course a matter of opinion rather than a fact though.

Although remember when the Graham Hughes stand was condemned a couple of weeks after it'd been packed with fans.

I'm assuming the one stand not fit for use is referring to the Steve Bull, its a bit tatty and could do with an update but its hardly a shit hole.

It's not a good stand by any measure these days but it's streets ahead of similar offerings at Palace, Burnley, Bournemouth, Luton, Forest and Everton.

The North Stand at Villa is a right kip as well.

Bad enough to send you to sleep?😀

Yeah that Forest stand is the same stand!
Not even that one I'm on about!

It's this shithole.

Like a League Two ground.

I told the people I took yesterday that the stand they'd be sitting in as a shithole, afterwards they said it's better than the Kop at Bramall Lane, so I guess it's relative. At least the stand was built for seating unlike some of those that have just had seats plonked in

The first time I went to the City Ground was when we won there in 2017. Based only on what I’d seen on the TV I’d imagined it was a pretty smart stadium. It was only when I found myself in the stand I’d been looking at all those years (which turned out to be horrible anyway) that I realised the cameras are craftily placed on that complete wreck. A rum grothole indeed.

The fact it’s better than other grounds doesn’t excuse the fact that we are failing to spend on even the most basic maintenance. They can’t even paint the bollards outside the main entrance to the BW ffs. Clubs being run as tight as possible which has fuck all to do with FFP and everything to do with Fosun

Sorry we can't afford that new player, we've spent the budget painting the roof of the South Bank that not many people can see.

Have you seen the repaint of the Neil Sedaka statue? That's more embarrassing.
Did I mention that to you on a certain Facebook page yesterday?
I’ve always thought it looked more Sedaka than Hayward, mentioned it on two Facebook pages yesterday, and here you are calling it that, it’s just weird
