General Wolves News

Surely this has been written by a Chat bot?

It's drivel.
You've got a man with more time on his hands. You've got 3 months to prepare for the next one. He has 3 months to write it...should be a classic.

I'm at an AI confdrence today, and I think AI would provide greater quality in the writing. It would certainly be more coherent.
LIKE everyone else, I'm concerned about AI and how it could fool us into thinking James Corden isn't an absolute cunt, though I'm pretty confident it can't evolve that much...

My big worry with AI is that it will only serve to widen the wealth gap. I remember as kid in school speculating about future technologies, robots etc, and thinking how lovely life will be when we've got machines doing so much work that people get to take their foot off the gas, enjoy life more etc, but it's pretty clear now that pretty much every technological advancement just ends up putting ordinary people out of work and onto the poverty line, while making rich people even richer. There's no doubt AI has masses of positive potential, but like everything it'll be used to just fuck people in the face

That's luddite thinking.

Most technological advances have increased employment and lifted the intelligence of the world. They have all, and AI will, have curbs on them to restrict the effect on the human race.

Just because one way of working becomes redundant another will replace it. You seem to have fallen into the trap of not being able to see as you did as your younger self and not being able to use your imagination to think what could be possible.

Not that I disagree with the rich getting richer being particularly prominent at the moment and very much a problem across the planet that usually only war solves.

Well, who would have thought that the ramblings of a bored man would lead TWF to a sensible discussion on the merits and threats of AI

Well used I'm of the opinion that AI can revolutionise how customers and businesses interact - having the right information in people's hands within moments can only make those transactions better quality for both parties.

My concerns are around the use of AI for nefarious activities, deep fake phone calls for example or AI developed without "guidelines" or ethics.

AI won't replace the editor who worked on Jeff's piece, as there will still be a need for human verification. But a competent editor should replace who ever allowed Jeff's mad ramblings to be published.

Sounds like we're going to be the guinea pigs for the Christmas Eve match this year - the Chelsea home match has been earmarked for the move.
