General Wolves News

Just protecting our asset and rewarding him for recent weeks more likely. He'll go out on loan next season.

EEL was far worse. He was doing really well at Sheff Utd (in League One). They wanted to sign him. Still had at least 18 months on his deal so not like we were going to lose him for free. We rejected their bid, extended his contract for years and he literally never played a first team game for us again. Shocking stuff.

I doubt Hodge will start a league game for us again this season.

No issues with that, he showed some ability and so at 20 that's promising. A loan would be useful as he needs development before we see him in a more sustained run of games, but he looks good enough for a solid career at L1/Championship level already I'd say.

25th in The Deloitte Money League - We'd have been a couple of places higher if we didn't completely fall apart at the end of last season as the extra money in league placings would have pushed us above Brighton in 23rd.

My first thought was "that's a made up name isn't it?"

Mentioned it before but I'm 42 soon and yet there are very few people younger than me in our area of the North Bank (or they are younger but have aged like Wayne Rooney)

The atmosphere has been pretty bad all season but have we even scored a league goal in front of the South Bank this season? The atmosphere dies when there's nothing to feed off and there's been very little for a while.
