General Wolves News

I'm not sure the extent of medical knowledge available stops at knowing it's a knee....
Well without access to medical records/surgery notes and a physical examination then yes, that is the extent of it
If there is nothing you can add so be it, no need to be patronising.
I politely asked what you wanted to know. Then I answered your question.

You carried on being silly for reasons I don’t know so lost my shit a bit. Apologies.

He will be fine. Like I said.

I can add that they are usually done with a hamstring graft. No idea on patella V hamstring though!

And Hwang is back in training

We desperately need some good news ffs

Bit of a worry no actual timeframe put on Neto other than misses the World Cup and out for a number of months

That's what struck me. The World Cup timeline is a headline grabber but doesn't tell us much really beyond him being out for at least 2 months

I have a feeling that we have seen the best of Neto. He is on of those players who is injury prone and will not be as good as he was again.
I hope l am wrong though.

Not sure it’s fair to say he’s injury prone after two unrelated impact injuries. But we may have seen the best of him yes.

I disagree though. I don’t think this injury changes anything long term.

If he strained his ligaments could coming back on the pitch risk making it worse or is it a when it's done its done type of injury?

Presume the medical team that made the decision to let him continue to come back onto the pitch are not part of the staff that have been let go with Lage?

From the stands it did look like Neto been sent back on whilst Adama got warmed up and his lotion applied to save us going temporarily down to 10 men.

Based on the prognosis we’re looking at a grade 3 sprain. Basically just rolled it and completely fucked it. Don’t think hobbling around the pitch will have done any more damage, the initial acute injury will have done all that. It would have just hurt like shit and been completely unusable which was obvious from when he put his foot down for the first time and instantly said ‘no’.

Yes Adama might not have been ready but you still can’t throw him back out there! You’re better off having 10 men for 2 minutes than 11 where one is useless as teammates will be expecting him to do something whereas if there’s no one there then they won’t pass to him, expect him to press or mark.

I wasn’t angry at him doing more damage at the time. I was angry at sending a player back out there who is in pain and is clearly useless.

They said 6 weeks on 5live. Too late for Portugal WC squad but I'd think he'll be back for us after the WC.

We not having a welcome to wolves (records) Reepa thread starting?

He’s on the wolves YouTube channel walking round park village where he grew up

I listen to the Wolfwhistle podcast occasionally, not been much to interest me lately but the current episode has Bully on it. Lots of old fashioned football clichés, the guy that does it tends to get his facts a bit confused sometimes, but for all that it's a fun listen, especially for those of us who saw him play.

Chem Campbell getting a new contract according to Sky
Holiday Madeley says a four year deal. Was due to be out of contract at the end of the season (we probably had/have an option though).
