Can't see it. Watched both in person in the past week. Hoever was better defensively and actually ran forward and crossed the ball at times. The worlds fastest footballer™️ managed none of those.

Think a few are being overly harsh on Jackson. I’d play him over Hoever every day of the week.

That’s not to say I think he’s amazing. Just better than our other options.
His defensive qualities are a bit meh but what frustrates me is his attacking, so much pace but reluctant to use it. On Wednesday he did have one good run and put in a decent cross but then completely disappeared.

One of the really crazy things with that team selections is Wolfe put in the best L(W)B performance we've seen all season and he's out.
Agree there. And Vítor using him for another passive aggressive dig at the fans in his press conference. “A few weeks ago they said he wasn’t good enough, now they want him to start”.

GON did put out what looked a ludicrous XI last year at Fulham and we won 4-1.

Then left it the same the following week and we got blootered.

That’s definitely where they have something in common.

GON or VP both had lucky streaks but, when the dust settles, it’s obvious that neither know what the fuck they’re doing.

He shouldn't be worrying about and following what fans online are saying about players.

Also, most insinuations that the new signings aren't good enough have come from the fact he was hardly playing any of them!

Tbf it’s not like more “sensible” selections have worked.

Definitely smacks of desperation but I don’t know what other card he can play at this point.

I worried about having to play a game without our only two competent centre midfielders. I never thought it would be through choice or because the manager had managed to alienate them. It’s staggering.

Sometimes there’s a fine line between genius and madness. This isn’t one of those times.
