Mark any tips for any centre backs for Blue Square South. Only got three and one of them is very young.

Cant remember who i had back then, i'll have a look later but i signed a guy called Hartley in the BSP and he's still with me in League 1.

Just thought of a couple of my other old defenders, Jason O'Hare, Daniel Devine and Turner, think Turner was a Mark.

Finished my third season as Premier league champions, 7 points ahead of Chelsea. Didn't win any cup this season. Got knocked out the Champions League by AC Milan who went on to win it.

Got alot of the big teams sniffing around my players with AC Milan looking to hit the minimum fee on Krul.

Haven't really strengthened my team for the new season, bought 2 youngsters and an out of contract Samuel Eto'o who at 34 still looks the dogs!

I am still Bolton in the 16/17 season and I have promised a top half finish after a 16th finish. They gave me a 700k wage budget and a 20 mill transfer Budget so I but it all to wages and signed a load of quality frees. Ballotelli is on 88k +88k appearance fee same with Robben and evra. Torres or van persie wouldn't sign though :( but I got Papis Cisse so it doesn't matter.

I managed to squirm my way up to the top of the table in February, it's pretty tight at the top though, only 6-7 points seperating top down to 7th but then there's something like a 10 point gap down to 8th.

Entering the final stretch now so hopefully i can at least hang on for a play-off place, just lost a young winger i had on loan from Chelsea so i'm a little light in that area now but fingers crossed it wont cost me.

Surely there must be regens available who are much better than Mario for a fraction of the cost?

Last exam today, so FM will be back in my life!

So that's £13.8m on wages, and assuming they play a conservative 35 games a season £9.2m in appearances. £23m of your budget, which was £56m. I forsee some big red numbers on your balance sheet....

But if I come in the top 6 that becomes irregardless..

Couldn't get any cheaper than a free transfer from the out contracts....

I've just won the Premier League with an annual wage and bonus spend of under £50m. The kids are out there, man!

My entire squad in League 1 is on less than a quarter of what you're paying Balotelli before you even consider his bonuses!

Wow thats awesome....

I'm only doing it so I can build me rep up so Wolves will hire me again as manager....

or get a better Job...

With 10 games left i'm top of League 1, i'm about to play 17th placed Hartlepool who have less than half the points of my Solihull Moors but some how they're still favourites for the game.

Yeah, that's always puzzling. In my title winning season (have I mentioned that I won the PL with Worcester?) towards the end I was away to Southampton, who were 19th, while I was joint top, and I was the 5/2 outsider.

Another point, is anybody annoyed by how the only pre match talks that make players go 'green' is to just relax and enjoy themselves? Or have I just got a nervous squad?!

I've found similar things on mine, my squad is very young though so i imagine the 'pressure off' teamtalk fits with them quite well, i remember on an older FM i had a very professional squad at Wolves so if we were favourites, usually were, i told them i expected the win and they usually got it.

I've tried a few different team talks, expecting a win, want to be impressed, etc. and they only ever get a couple of players motivated or happy opposed to pretty much the whole team when i tell them to relax, perhaps it's the small club mentality? Always being the underdog.

I've nearly slipped up a few times on lower clubs lately though, my defence seems to go to shit when i play them, i'll get an early lead and then they equalise pretty quickly before shutting up shop and frustrating the crap out of me until i go 'overload' at the end to force a result.

Good point, my squad is also very young so it's probably that. Beating a midtable club and saying "great result, we were real underdogs here" feels weird, but I know it's the best way to make them feel happy!
